This course will cover: The nature of adolescent depression, history of depression, types of depression, the impact of depression on the developing brain, and myths around depression. Explore evidence-based interventions such as CBT. This is an experiential course, and we will demonstrate age-appropriate creative interventions useful when working with depression. Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Art Therapists, Social Workers, Teachers, Support Workers, Youth Workers, Classroom Assistants, parents and carers
